The month of gratitude: day 21
Day 21
I'm grateful (and a little in awe) for The Boy's sense of responsibility about his unfinished homework. I was going to wake him up at 6:30am to finish his work before school, but he wasn't in bed.
Turns out he'd gotten up at 3am to do it himself. Who IS this kid?
The month of gratitude: day 18
Day 18
I'm grateful for small gifts from my small boys. This origami bunny from The Boy rides on my car dashboard.
The month of gratitude: day 7
Day 7
I'm grateful for moments when my kids are being unintentionally funny.
The Boy asked me to give him only one or two pieces of Halloween candy in his lunch, instead of a handful of goodies. "EVERYBODY wanted to trade [items from their own lunches] with me." Poor sweetheart feels obligated to trade. (I wouldn't. Mommy doesn't share food.)

And thank you to Kristin Johnson, who decided to spoil me with this gratitude:
"I am thankful for you Lisa…for being such a wonderful part of Best of the Northwest – October! Thanks for being so supportive there at the show, and beyond by including me in your Art & News Bulletin. How special is that!?!
It’s great to have artists supporting artists!"
